Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

BusinessCoordinator ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered quote intake widget to landscaping and home-service businesses ("Customers"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect from people who request quotes ("End Users") through our widget, and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact details you provide in the chat: name, phone number, email, and service address.
  • Project details: the service you're requesting, property size, timeline, budget, photos you upload, and any notes.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and timestamps, collected automatically.
  • Chat transcripts between you and our AI assistant.

2. How we use your information

  • To forward your quote request to the business you contacted.
  • To generate a rough cost estimate (which is not a binding quote).
  • To improve the accuracy and quality of our AI assistant.
  • To detect spam, abuse, and fraud.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Who we share data with

  • The business you submitted the request to. They receive your full submission.
  • Service providers that host our infrastructure and AI models, under contracts requiring them to protect your data.
  • Authorities if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

Lead submissions are retained for as long as the business you contacted maintains an active account, plus 12 months. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 7).

5. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to lead data is restricted to the originating business and authorized BusinessCoordinator staff. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA / CPRA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your information ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Receive a portable copy of your data.
  • Opt out of any "sale" or "share" of personal information (we do not sell data).

To exercise these rights, email privacy@businesscoordinator.com.

7. Children

BusinessCoordinator is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
